Meeting with a Malaysian IT company

On January 26 of this year, the meeting between the Deputy Director of the Investment Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade O. Elmuratov with representatives of the Malaysian IT company Alphront Sdn Bhd was held.

During the meeting, the Deputy Director of the Agency, O. Elmuratov, informed representatives of the foreign company about the activities and functions of the Agency, in particular informing foreign investors about investment opportunities, the socio-economic development of the country, the latest important reforms, assisting foreign investors in establishing connections with government agencies and local partners, registration of licenses and permits, identification of land plots and real estate for their investment projects, etc.

Alphront Sdn Bhd Group Director Nizom Mohd Nafis and Executive Director Low Shin Hangb told about the company’s activities. For more than 15 years, the company has been active in the field of information technology, acting as a provider of online solutions.

At the same time, company representatives were given a presentation on the investment potential and climate of the Republic of Uzbekistan. As part of the presentation, representatives of foreign companies learned about the latest key reforms to improve the investment climate, the goals of the Uzbekistan-2030 strategy dedicated to stimulating investment activity, benefits, preferences and conditions for foreign investors created in the country.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation within the framework of the investment activities of companies in Uzbekistan and agreed on further steps within the future cooperation.
