Meeting with representatives of Malaysian companies was held

On January 24 of this year, a meeting was held between the Deputy Director of the Investment Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade O. Elmuratov and representatives of the Malaysian companies Frazer & Neave Holdings BHD-F&N and Rafahia Holdings Berhard.

During the meeting, presentation material on the investment potential and climate of the Republic of Uzbekistan was presented. As part of the presentation, representatives of foreign companies learned about the latest key reforms to improve the investment climate, the goals of the Uzbekistan-2030 strategy dedicated to stimulating investment activity, benefits, preferences and conditions for foreign investors created in the country.

Furthermore, a representative of Frazer&Neave Holdings BHD–F&N also presented presentation material on the activities of the holding company. The foreign company representatives told about studying the market and prospects for entering the market, in particular, considering further establishing production.

For information: Frazer&Neave Holdings BHD–F&N was founded in 1883 and specializes in the production of food products. The company has 13 production facilities in Malaysia and Thailand and exports its products to 93 countries.

Rafahia Holdings Berhard company’s activities in Uzbekistan, in particular gold mining activities and future prospects were discussed with representatives of the company.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation within the framework of investment activities of companies in Uzbekistan.
