The Uzbek-Chinese trade, economic, investment and tourism forum was held

As part of the visit of the Chinese delegation led by the Governor of Jiangsu Province of the People's Republic of China, Xu Kunlin, 
a number of meetings and events took place in Tashkent and Kashkadarya. In particular, on September 22 of this year, the Uzbek-Chinese trade, economic, 
investment and tourism forum was held.
During the forum, which took place in Karshi, the current state of bilateral cooperation and prospects for the 
implementation of mutually beneficial investment projects in priority sectors were discussed.

For reference: The total volume of Chinese investments in Uzbekistan for 2017-2022. amounted to more than $10 billion. In 2022 alone, more than $2 billion of investments were disbursed. 
The number of enterprises created in Uzbekistan with the participation of Chinese capital has today reached 1,823 units.
The forum was attended as speakers by the Governor of Jiangsu Province Xu Kunlin, the khokim of the Kashkadarya region Murotjon Azimov, 
the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Uzbekistan Yu Jun, the director of the Agency for Attracting Foreign Investments Murat Mirzaev 
and other representatives of the two countries.

Meetings were also held in B2B and B2G formats, which were attended by more than 250 representatives of the business community of China and Uzbekistan, investors, 
representatives of ministries and departments.
