Limaomaoli Metal Company
Limaomaoli Metal Company is a Chinese-invested iron ore miner established in November 2019. It is developing the Syurenata (Surenata) deposit in the Parkent district of Tashkent region. A construction ceremony for the processing complex was held on 18 July 2024.
The first stage involves $50 million of investment. The complex is designed to process 2.4 million tonnes of ore a year into 1 million tonnes of iron ore concentrate, and to create 400-500 jobs. Reserves are sufficient for 12 years of operation. A second stage will add service facilities and small enterprises around the site.
