JSC Navoiyazot

JSC "Navoiyazot" operates modern chemical complexes for PVC, caustic soda, ammonia, and urea, built through international EPC cooperation with Chinese and Japanese partners to replace outdated facilities and secure domestic supplies of polymers and nitrogen fertilizers.
JSC "Navoiyazot", a cornerstone enterprise of Uzbekistan’s chemical sector under Uzkimyosanoat, operates two major modern industrial production units developed through international engineering cooperation:
PVC, Caustic Soda, and Methanol Complex: Constructed with Chinese contractors CAMCE and China Huanqiu Contracting & Engineering Corporation (HQC), this facility has an installed annual design capacity of 100,000 tonnes of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and 75,000 tonnes of caustic soda. The complex provides domestic manufacturers with critical polymer raw materials for pipes, profiles, and cable insulation, substituting imports and supplying industrial consumers.
Ammonia and Urea Production Complex: Delivered in cooperation with a Japanese consortium comprising Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Mitsubishi Corporation, this facility represents an overall project value of US$985.74 million. Commissioned with initial urea output achieved in December 2020, the facility features an annual design capacity of 660,000 tonnes of ammonia and 577,500 tonnes of urea. The complex modernised outdated manufacturing lines, significantly expanding domestic supplies of nitrogen-based fertilizers for agriculture.
Together, these operational assets highlight the comprehensive industrial modernisation of JSC "Navoiyazot", shifting capacity toward higher-value chemical derivatives and import-substituting agricultural inputs.
