From 29 November to 2 December Tashkent hosted Swiss Days 2025 in Tashkent City Mall and the Hyatt Regency Tashkent. The Embassy of Switzerland in Uzbekistan organized the event to strengthen bilateral economic ties, showcase Swiss technological solutions, and open new opportunities for cooperation amid Uzbekistan’s ongoing reforms and preparations for accession to the World Trade Organization. The agenda highlighted sustainable development technologies, the green economy, and industrial modernization.
At the opening ceremony, Mansurjon Rasulev, acting director of the Investment Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, emphasized the positive momentum in Uzbek–Swiss economic cooperation, the growing number of joint ventures, and the expanding portfolio of investment projects. Rasulev noted that Uzbekistan is becoming an increasingly predictable and attractive investment destination, while Swiss companies bring expertise and technologies that can significantly accelerate modernization efforts across key sectors of the economy.
“Today, Uzbekistan and Switzerland move in the same direction — toward an economy built on innovation, sustainability, and high standards. We are ready to support every project that brings real value and creates a long-term impact for the country,” said Rasulev.
The agenda featured sessions on industrial modernization and global competitiveness, sustainable urban development and infrastructure, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and innovative finance. There was also a roundtable on sustainable mining which brought together leading Swiss companies specializing in technological and environmental solutions.
Alongsıde the maın events, Tashkent City Mall hosted the “Quality. Innovation. Reliability.” Exhibition showcasing cutting-edge Swiss products and technologies, including the immersive SPHERY fitness platform, which integrates digital learning, physical activity, and gamification.
