Two international treaties approved

The corresponding decrees № PP-4826 and PP-4827 were signed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on September 15 of this year.

These are the following documents:

• Convention between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Japan for the elimination of double taxation with respect to taxes on income and the prevention of tax evasion and avoidance, signed on December 19, 2019 in Tokyo;
• Protocol amending the Convention between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Korea for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of tax evasion on income and capital of 11.02.1998, signed on April 19, 2019 in Tashkent.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has been instructed to send our foreign partners appropriate notifications on the implementation by Uzbekistan of domestic procedures necessary for the entry of these international treaties into force.
