The largest number of enterprises with foreign capital is in the industrial sector of Uzbekistan

The State Statistics Committee has published data on the number of enterprises in Uzbekistan with the participation of foreign capital.

The total number of enterprises with foreign capital for February 1 is 11,919; 5,724 of which are joint ventures and 6,195 are foreign enterprises.

By industry, the largest number of enterprises with foreign capital – 3,981 – operate in industry; in trade, respectively – 3,148, in construction industry- 966, in agriculture, forestry and fisheries – 690, in the areas of accommodation and food services – 507, in transportation and storage – 322, information and communication – 321 and health and social services – 174.
