Another type of subsidizing viticulture has been established

Government Decree (№327 of 06/10/2022) approved the Regulations on the procedure for reimbursement of part of the costs of lifting vine seedlings on trellises (except for wooden and other fragile supports).

According to the Regulation, the subsidy is allocated:

– to the applicant who has created vineyards for growing varieties “khuraki” and “kishmish” – at the expense of the Horticulture Development Fund;

– to the applicant who has created industrially developed vineyards – at the expense of the Winemaking Development Fund.

The subsidy is allocated only once after the completion of the installation (construction) of trellises in order to raise grape seedlings in the constructed vineyards, in the amount of no more than 15 thousand soums per trellis.

To receive a subsidy, the applicant submits an application in writing or electronically to the district working group to obtain an opinion after the installation (construction) of the trellises is completed.

A positive or negative conclusion is issued based on the results of the study after one day.

The relevant Agencies, together with the district departments of agriculture, monitor the implementation of the parameters specified in the contract for 5 years.

In the event that the subjects of public control reveal the misuse or unsuitability of the subject of subsidies, such cases can be recorded by video equipment and submitted to the district working group within 2 days.

The message is encouraged by the relevant Agency if approved. The incentive is paid in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the subsidy collected from the applicant.

Also, in accordance with the Regulation on the procedure for reimbursement of part of the costs for the purchase of wine-making equipment, approved by this Decree, part of the costs for the purchase of wine-making equipment is reimbursed (20 percent of the costs for the purchase of each wine-making equipment, but not more than 300 million soums).
