Name of the project

Creating a cluster to develop the industry of karakul breeding husbandry, obtain mutton and karakul on an industrial basis and expand activities of the Uzbek-Belarusian joint venture LLC FURSKINS COMPANY operating in the Kashkadarya region.

Main goals of project

Creation and development of a cluster in the region, the introduction of innovative ideas and the development of new methods and the organization of breeding in the Karakul sheep husbandry.  Purchase of Karakul sheep, Romanovsky breed for lamb, and cultivation of export-oriented Karakul skins, astrakhan and sheep skin on an industrial basis.

 The construction of new modern buildings, the modernization and reconstruction of existing production facilities, the installation of new modern technologies and equipment into the industry through the import of foreign equipment (Italy, Turkey and Germany), using the latest innovative technologies in the field of Karakul breeding, processing of leather, fur and fur raw materials,  for the production of leather goods, fur-fur, karakul-made products and finished products of leather and fur, as well as export of manufactured products, to reduce unemployment in our country,  create new jobs.

      On the need for technological equipment for raw-dyeing production for processing 140 thousand pieces of sheepskin coat and 50 tons of weight flap, 100 thousand pieces of Karakul and fur raw materials for 2020-2022. Accordingly, for the processing of 100 thousand pieces sheepskin per year with an area of 5.4 dm2, it is necessary to process 320 – 330 sheeskins daily, or with an area of 17.5 – 18.0 thousand dm2 per year.
