Implementation of 256 investment projects worked out by diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan abroad

This figure was announced by the first deputy minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhomjon Nematov at the press conference held at the National Press Center and dedicated to the results of the implementation of the country’s foreign policy last year and future priorities.

It was noted that due to economic diplomacy conducted by the embassies of Uzbekistan abroad, the volume of export of domestic products to foreign countries increased by 19.2%, exceeding 10.2 billion dollars.

In addition, the flow of tourists arriving in our country has increased. In this area, in 2019, growth amounted to 27.1% and the number of tourists reached 7 million.
