Technoparks will appear in Jizzakh region

14 investment projects will be implemented for a total amount of 53 billion soums on the territory of technology parks. This follows from the decision of the Government (ПКМ № 936, 21.11.2019 г.).

Diversified technology parks will occupy a total of 6 hectares of Zaamin, Dustlik and Sharaf-Rashidovsky districts territories, allotted for permanent use at no cost.

It is planned to implement these projects for the production of food, knitwear, furniture, shoes, electrical equipment, etc. Start the projects will be launched from December 1. First of all, they will “give good” to the production of products from the list approved by the Presidential Decree of May 1.

 The management and coordination of technology parks are entrusted to the Unified Directorate in the form of a limited liability company, the founder of which is the Yoshlar – kelajagimiz Foundation under the Youth Union.

 The Directorate sells buildings and structures to technology park participants through direct negotiations with payment of construction costs with a 5-year installment plan on the conditions:

• organization and preservation of import substituting competitive products for 5 years;
• providing at least 30% of the created youth jobs.

 At the same time, at least 25% of each building and structure remains at the disposal of the Directorate and is leased to investors at the minimum rental rate without the use of increasing factors.

 Banks will give preferential loans to technology park participants for the purchase of equipment and other material and technical resources at a rate of 5% per annum. The Directorate may act as a guarantor.
