Promising investment projects presented to the Indian side at the Embassy of Uzbekistan

As part of the work being done to increase the economic potential of the regions of our republic and to promote export, the Embassy of our country in Delhi met with the head of the Indian company “Ishan Group” Rakesh Sharma.

At the meeting, the Indian businessman was presented with project proposals for various industries in the regions of Uzbekistan. In particular, the real opportunities in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm and Kashkadarya regions were discussed.

In turn, speaking about the results of his visit to the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region in December last year, Rakesh Sharma spoke about the initial agreements reached. In particular, following the visit with the participation of an Indian investor, the possibilities of processing licorice root and creating a modern textile enterprise in the Kegeyli and Turtkul regions of Karakalpakstan are being studied.

In order to speed up practical steps on these agreements, a visit of representatives of the “Ishan Group” company to Uzbekistan will be organized in February this year.
