In the Sergeli district of the capital, a large Indian company has begun work on a construction project

For the implementation of a project to organize a university, student dormitories, residential buildings, sports complexes and health centers, schools and kindergartens, as well as a modern hotel worth $ 500 million, the Indian company Minerva world of knowledge LLC allocated an area of   100 hectares on the territory of the Zangiata district of the Tashkent region (which, by the order of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, is included in the territory of the city of Tashkent). 

For the implementation of the project, an investment agreement was concluded between the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent and Minerva world of knowledge LLC on August 29, 2019.  

Completion of construction is foreseen:

* at the first stage – educational institutions, in the fourth quarter of 2021;

* at the II stage – hospitals, in the IV-quarter of 2021;

* at the III stage – hotels, in the IV quarter of 2021;

* at the IV stage – residential buildings, shopping and business centers, a sports complex, in the IV quarter of 2026.

The full launch of the project is planned at the end of 2026.
