Agricultural machinery manufacturers were provided customs privileges

The Resolution of the President dated 1.02.2021 No. PP-4969 “On additional measures to create a healthy competitive environment in the agricultural engineering industry” was adopted. According to the document, domestic manufacturers of agricultural machinery operating in the agricultural machinery industry:

until January 1, 2022, they are exempt from customs payments (except for VAT and customs duties) when importing spare parts and components for the production and maintenance of agricultural machinery that are not produced in the republic, according to lists formed in the prescribed manner;

have the right to defer the payment of VAT for a period of 270 days, starting from the date of placement in the customs regime “release for free circulation” (import) of goods when importing components, raw materials and materials for the production and service of agricultural machinery.

Lists of imported spare parts and components, as well as adjustments to them, are formed by a privileged organization. In case of receiving a positive opinion on them from the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for Comprehensive Expertise of Projects and Import Contracts”, any importing organization receives the right to import the goods specified in the lists in the prescribed manner.
